This Chevy is his. Parked in his driveway in Phoenix. You can see the chain hanging off the rear axle keeping it from rolling away during the night.

Shives is called "Earl" by his Phoenix friends. He got the name from that commercial about Earl Scheib's cheap paint jobs that flake off after the first rain. Scheib's sounds like Shives - get it? So, anyway they call him "Earl" and this is his baby - the paint job is not from Earl Scheib, however.
