Although they didn't know each other when this picture was taken, these two were to become best friends and remain so up to this day.
Though now they live states apart, they made a commitment years back to come together each summer to rekindle their friendship; Two old swabs telling old sailor stories but these days the tall tales are about scoring golf not girls, and big screen TVs instead of bar fights.
Still time has modified hairlines and waistlines, but time will never change this friendship or the history behind it.
