Girls Just Wanna. . .
Hey girlfriend, do you remember seeing Herman's Hermits and the Animals at the San Jose Civic Auditorium? Who gave us the tickets?? Wasn't it Joanne, your crazy neighbor? Didn't Butch and Joe give us a ride to the show that night? Butch had a ratty1957 Chevy, powder blue with a white top and big bench seats. Our tickets were really close to the stage on the right side. I think Herman liked you because he kept looking and smiling, but I was really into Eric Burdon. When the guys brought us home we sat in front of your apartment house on La Pala drive off McKee Road. I know that you didn't like Joe at all and that you were flirting with Butch the whole time...don't try to deny it because I saw you holding his hand.

When KLIV was giving away tickets for the Monkee's Concert we both entered the drawing. Remember they called your name. I was so sad because you were going to the show without me and then the very next day they called my name too. We rode in a bus from the KLIV studio on Story Road in San Jose to the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Once we got there we found our seats were in the 'nose bleed' section but that didn't matter. We laughed and screamed just as loud as all the rest of the girls.

After I met the sailor and we had some wheels to get around in you were the designated 'snapper' because you had the busy fingers to tackle the task.

Well they do.

Girls just wanna do all sorts of things and we did just about everything we could think of.
Davey Jones was your favorite and Peter was mine.
Eric could whip "Herman" hands down !!
